You must be prepared for alpine conditions! We may refuse to transport you if we feel you are not prepared. This is a difficult hike so you must choose an early departure time if you require a lot of time on the track. Minimum age is 8.
We reserve the right to cancel at time. If we decide to cancel due to bad weather you will be offered a full refund or transfer your ticket to the next best day of your choice. If you miss the shuttle you will not be refunded although we will attempt to get you on the next shuttle if there is availability, NO Guarantees. Due to Alpine conditions we may cancel after arriving at the start. No refunds for any cancellations with in 24 hours. Full refunds for cancellations with more than 24 hours.
Return transfers to the Crossing (Mangatepopo) from any location within Central Turangi departing at 5:30 am, 7 am & 8:30 pm.
Turangi is the perfect base for the Crossing with lots of accommodation options and hot thermal pools to relax in after you have completed the Crossing. This is the easiest hassle free option.
We will pick you up in the afternoon from the end (Ketetahi) to return you back to Turangi. Afternoon pick up times are 2 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm so all you need to do is wait for any of these times and board the shuttle.
