Excellent wine and food, rich culture and spectacular coastal vistas define the Experience Golf Courses in Auckland and Northland.
Auckland, an arrival point for most New Zealand visitors, offers three Experience Golf Courses to complement its four Marquee Courses.
Three experience courses, (Omaha Beach Golf Club(opens in new window), Muriwai Beach Golf Club, and Remuera Golf Club ) are spread across the city and present plenty of opportunities for you to soak in Auckland’s vibrant city life, a stunning harbour, wine and food and surrounding islands.
Situated just north of Auckland is sub-tropical Northland, known for its rich history and love of the water. Kauri Cliffs, this region’s Marquee Course, is ranked #49 in the world by Golf Digest and hosted the PGA TOUR’s Kiwi Challenge in 2008.
Alongside Kauri Cliffs, you will find five Experience Golf Courses (90 Mile Beach Golf Links(opens in new window), Bay of Islands Golf Club, Waitangi Golf Club(opens in new window), Waipu Golf Club and Mangawhai Golf Club) offering seaside links to parkland layouts. Along with great golf, take your time exploring the twin coastline, Cape Reinga, Tane Mahuta (a 2000-year-olf Kauri tree) and the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Northland also offers some of the best diving and deep sea fishing in the country.
