The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is weather dependent, therefore the transport service may not run every day.
Full refund if the Tongariro Crossing is cancelled due to bad weather.
Tongariro Track Transport leaves daily from National Park Village (weather permitting). We leave in the morning in line with best wind and weather conditions on the mountain. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will help make your scenic trip to the crossing a great one. We can arrange hiking boots, rain jackets, pants, hiking poles and backpack, plus crampons and Ice axes when required.
