Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No nudity or revealing swim wear. Don’t dig mud from in or around the pools. No alcohol or illegal substances to be bought into the premises. No smoking or vaping in the pools complex. No food is to be eaten in or near the pool areas or in the pool shelters. No glass. Please, keep your head above the water at all times. Stay hydrated, sip water – sun, heat, wind will dehydrate you. Towel hire available.
Parahirahi Ngawha Waiariki Trust Trading as Ngawha Springs (the Trust) reserves the right to cancel any scheduled booking as the result of weather conditions and/or utility/infrastructure failure. Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before will not incur a cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled within 24hours of their booking will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. No shows (visitors/customers who do not turn up for their reservation) will not be entitled to a refund.
Throughout the centuries, many visitors also travelled, from near and far, to soak in the healing properties of the thermal waters. Each of our geothermal pools have their own unique characteristics and healing properties with differing temperatures, colours and minerals. Our public springs comprise of 16 geothermal pools, they are our connection to nature and to those who have come before. Feel the warmth and intimacy of Papatuanuku as she wraps around you, restoring the eternal connection between you and the natural world. As its caretakers, it is our privilege to not only share this wellness experience with you but also safeguard and protect the waters for future generations to come.
