There is something for everyone at Tryphena House, Great Barrier Island. Located close to local amenities including the pub, cafes, store and stunning sandy beaches but in its very own secluded corner of Tryphena Harbour. We can host up to 16 guests. Beautiful gardens, extensive decks, hammocks swinging in the Pohutukawa trees and two heated clawfoot bath tubs with incredible views across Tryphena Harbour. Kayaks, paddleboards, fishing kayaks, fishing gear are all available and free to use for guests. If you are coming by boat from Auckland, we can easily sort out a mooring for rent during your stay.
Great Barrier Island is the ultimate island getaway, off the beaten track but easily accessible from Auckland. Come see for yourselves.
