About

Grab your land Waka (bike) from the Gentle Cycling Company and after a 5 minute ride along the sea front to the beach, you are ready to enjoy a one hour Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) or Kayak hire from the gorgeous Tahunanui Beach and a paddle along Nelson’s iconic waterfront. Calm and sheltered, with easy access to Fifeshire Rock and Haulashore Island, paddling at Tahunanui is easy for everyone.
Following your Paddle Nelson experience, it’s back on the bike to enjoy the rest of the day (3+ hours) exploring more what our awesome little city has to offers; spectacular views on the Great Taste Trail, local wineries, cafes, artisan breweries are all an easy cycling distance away and then drop your bike back where you started.
