About

For a small donation you can take a self-guided tour of the upper levels and see the working parts of our flour mill. Group visits and guided tours with a trained Molenaar (Miller) are welcomed by prior arrangement. The ground floor of De Molen is home to The Dutch Market. Here you may purchase our stone ground flour, milled right here in De Molen, along with imported Dutch essentials including licorice, Dutch cheeses, croquettes, small goods, groceries and so much more. We also have a selection of De Molen, Dutch and NZ souvenirs. De Molen is part of The Foxton Windmill Trust Inc. a not for profit which also operates Cafe De Molen, serving, a fusion of Dutch/Kiwi cuisine, right next to De Molen.
