Our B&B is managed by BachCare and there is a compulsory linen charge and cleaning fee.

Our gardens have a stream, ponds, and a waterfall, as well as steep banks, so very young children must be within the sight of an adult at all times. We have no minimum stay so that guests from Auckland can take advantage of a weekend away without sitting in peak traffic. We are members of the Booking.com 'Genius' loyalty programme.

About

The Barn is stylish and modern. It stands in over a hectare of gardens, with ponds, native trees, a waterfall, orchards and extensive vegetable gardens. Your stay includes a full self-catering breakfast basket with a wide variety of home-made and local produce. Your hosts have a 'no minimum stay' policy for those (especially cyclists) wanting to avoid peak traffic and pop down for a Saturday night.

The Barn does not have specific business hours. We are open all year except in August and your hosts, John and Dallas Nesbitt, live next door so are available at all times to help and advise.

Tauranga Airport is 1 hour away by car and for International flights Auckland Airport is around 1 hour 40 minutes depeding on traffic flow.

InterCity buses stop daily in Waihi and there are regular shuttle services operating in the area.

We are located near the Martha Mine Pit Rim Walk, less than a kilometre from Waihi town and only 11 kms from Waihi Beach
