While no prior experience is needed, good swimming ability, english speaking and a medium level of fitness is required. You’ll need to be physically able to strut your stuff in a wetsuit for up to 3 hours. Our full day canyon tour offers an unforgettable experience for the bold and fearless who crave excitement and challenge.
Your day starts with a pick up from Queenstown or Wanaka, then a 1-2 hour vehicle transfer out to the canyon, a chance to rest and prepare for the incredible day ahead. Expect to see sparkling lakes and picturesque mountains, all with a coffee stop along the way. Located in the pristine wilderness of the Mt Aspiring National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with limited numbers allowed in the park this adventure is reserved for the fortunate few each season. Enjoy up to 3 hours of incredible canyoning time including jumps, slides, abseils, climbs and swimming in crystal clear pools of pure New Zealand water.
