The walk is on sealed surfaces, mostly flat. Where there are a few steps, there is a ramp alternative for easy access. Eco cups are available, with water stations along the walk. Wear suitable walking shoes/trainer and sun protection. Sun cream and hand sanitiser are available to use. Mask/s available if needed.

Cancellation Policy angle-down

This experience will run in all but the most extreme weather. For a full refund, 24 hours notice in advance of the start date of the experience must be given. If Sunny Nelson Tours cancel due to extreme weather conditions, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.

About

A 2 hour tour showing you the highlights of central Nelson. Guided by a local, the walk includes Lord of the Rings ring-maker Jens Hansen, the Centre of New Zealand view, the stunning beauty of Queens Gardens, Maitai River Walk, Suter Art Gallery, ornate historic cottages in South Street and much more. Along the walk we'll see fabulous examples of Art Deco, Victorian and modern architecture, also discovering sculptures and art work as we meander through our wonderful city.
