This afternoon wine tour visits some of the oldest winemakers in the Auckland region -only a 20 minute drive from the city centre. We start with a tasting lunch at Soljans winery. Next stop is at Coopers Creek winery where they produce a wide variety of wines and are adventurous in their choice of grapes and blends. Next you visit one of the region’s special places where you have the chance to see one of the world’s largest seabirds in their natural environment (from August - April). Your journey takes you to one of the few mainland gannet nesting sites in the world situated on the cliff-tops overlooking the Tasman Sea with spectacular views. We finish off with a visit to Westbrook winery with its beautiful wines and idyllic views.
