About

Explore the beautiful Nelson Haven right from the beach at Tāhunanui or on the River Maitai. Using our super stable, awesome-looking Moana inflatable paddleboards or sit on top kayaks, you'll paddle confidently after a brief instruction from the crew on the conditions and technique. Urenui (Fifeshire Rock), Motu Manuka (Haulashore Island) and the iconic Boulder Bank are all a short paddle from the sand. Plentiful sea birds and marine life (fur seals, eagle and sting rays) are common, so bring your friends and family to enjoy the serenity and the scenery — either way, it’s without a doubt the most fun Nelson/Tāhunanui Beach activity. Or join us one evening for our guided Nelson Night Paddles, where we light up the ocean.
