About

Mt Difficulty’s Cellar Door tasting room is built to take in the dramatic views of Bannockburn's mining heritage and the colours of the Cromwell basin's fruitbowl.

On a fine day the outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy Mt Difficulty’s unique hospitality. During winter the view can be enjoyed from behind glass, with fireplaces providing warmth and ambience.

The dining environment is casual, and the menu features both platters and more substantial dishes which favour fresh, local ingredients.

Wine tasting and sales possible daily, with award winning Mt Difficulty and Roaring Meg wines.
