Lady Bowen Hotel is located in a quiet residential street just a short flat 5 minute walk from cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and markets.
Our dining room is an area where our guests can enjoy a meal or make a hot drink. There a guest fridge, microwave, toaster and cutlery and crockery.
A complimentary breakfast of juice, cereal, fruit, yogurt, a cooked meal, toast and spreads, along with freshly brewed coffee or tea is served each morning.
Our guest lounge has a cosy fire place, a tv, and a pool table. It's perfect for a group gathering, an intimate wine, a family pool game, or a quiet read.
Our rooms offer quality bedding, sheets and towels along with a heater or fan, a hairdryer and toiletries. Robes are available on request.

Prices include a substantial cooked and/or continential breakfast. Affordable Family Room prices available on application.
We welcome supervised children over five years, however our heritage building is unsuitable for under 5's. As we are a wooden heritage building and fire is a concern, and for the comfort of all our guests smoking and vaping is not permitted inside or on the decks or balcony. A smoking area is provided and we ask that anyone smoking or vaping use that area. Check-in is 3pm to 9pm. Check-out is by 10am.
Any changes or cancellation to a reservation must be made no less than a week prior to your stay to avoid a cancellation fee of the first nights accommodation.
Lady Bowen Bed and Breakfast is the perfect base for a Coromandel holiday or a weekend getaway. We are only 90 mins from Central Auckland, Hamilton or Tauranga. Thames township with its many historic attractions, markets, shops, eateries and bars is an easy five minute walk away, the Hauraki Cycle Trail is on our doorstep, there are many walks (including the famous Pinnacles walk) nearby and we are at the gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula with its world famous beaches and spectacular scenery. We have a large spacious premises with 8 guest rooms (one Single, one Twin, four Queen, and two Family rooms) so plenty of room for everyone. Guests share a big guest lounge, large dining room, garden, deck and lovely balcony areas.
