For group bookings of 15 - 20 people we can offer a 10% discount and for 20 people plus a 15% discount. We also offer combo packages where we arrange your full itinerary for the day. These combos can include exciting wilderness white water rafting, electric mountain biking, and more. Please inquire for more information on how we can help build an ideal day out for you. Please note prior to any canyoning trip, all medical conditions need to be declared in the activity disclaimer form.
For a cancellation within 1 week prior to 24 hours of a trip booking for the Little Akatarawa Canyoning Tour a 20% of the full price may be held. For a cancellation within 24 hours prior to a booking then 50% of the full price may be held. For a no show the full price will be held.
The adventure begins with a safety briefing including a demonstration on how to rappel /abseil a rope followed by a 20 minute walk along an old logging track into the Akatarawa forest where the first feature of the Little Akatarawa Canyon tour begins. An exciting zip line into the Little Akatarawa canyon followed by four waterfall descents repelling/abseiling by rope into the heart of the canyon, if you are confident and want to do an independent abseil our experienced team of guides are there for support to coach you through the activity making sure you are safe and having fun. The Little Akatarawa Canyon has got to be the greatest little hidden gem in the Wellington region being only a 40 minute drive from the CBD. Book your trip today.
