The Ultimate Hauraki Rail Trail Tour
First part of tour is going past Rays Rest a local motorhome freedom camping area, this has a lovely view of the bay and makes for some lovely photos.
There will be country parts of trail going to Waitakaruru, a lovely flat track which is made just for cyclists. You see the beautiful Miranda and Kaiaua in many different ways. There is a cafe and dairy at Waitakaruru.
You will discover many farm life areas on the trail. Every area you travel through on hauraki rail trail is definitely rural life at its best.
The tunnel is one part of Trail that is fun, we encourage light usage, if you have a Ebike then you can go through with your bike light.
