Tapawera Settle is situated in the beautiful Motueka Valley surrounded by national parks and just 45 minutes from Nelson and Tasman Bays. Tapawera itself has in recent years become the Hops Capital of New Zealand. We are the largest accommodation provider on the southern half of Nelson-Tasman's newest cycle track The Great Taste Trail, and per our Kahurangi Gateway Landmark we are a Gateway town to the many tracks of the Kahurangi National Park. As well as a fully equipped kitchen and laundry we have modern facilities including free unlimited wifi. There is a walkway via the old railway line to Tapawera Village which has a supermarket, pub, restaurant & cafe.
