See these wild little blue penguins make their way home up the beach and onto a stony ramp before they cross into the colony. Enjoy the informative commentary of our expert guides about the lives of these penguins, their different breeding patterns, and why the conservation of these tiny birds is so important in New Zealand. If you're lucky, you may also see a range of different wildlife in the area, such as fur seals and seabirds. From the General Entry grandstand you will see the penguins from about 10-15 metres away. In the Premium Viewing, there's individual seating for a more comfortable experience where you can view the penguins from only a few metres away. Premium viewing is restricted to only 60 seats so bookings are advised.
