Nikau Cottage is hidden away in our garden, with Nikau palms. It has a queen bed in it's bedroom and a separate lounge, kitchenette, bay window and Bathroom, walk in wardrobe. It has a large partially covered deck with bay views.

Nikau Cottage is situated above our organic vegie garden, hidden in amongst the taller trees. It also has no steps, wide doors designed for easy living. It has a big sunny deck half covered, so you can eat outside even when it is raining, or shelter from the hot midday sun. The view from the deck our our sheltered bay and oyster farm (at low tide) is pleasant and private. The bird life, with the close proximity of the trees is a delight with Tui, tomtits, weka, kiwi, white-eye, finch, starling, thrush, all present at varying times of the day. Nikau is a pleasant walk from the car, so nature is your only company. A little oven stove and microwave with full utensils gives you self-sufficiency.
