The spacious living area. The large dining table is ideal for seating bigger groups. The farmstay has had a regular clientele of smaller self drive tour groups wishing to experience New Zealand's heartland.
The modern kitchen has every convenience - 2 fridge freezers, an oven, a microwave and a dishwasher plus plenty of space for food preparation. An adjoining laundry has a washing machine and drier available for guest's use.

Minimum rate Is $180 for 3 persons with extra adults charged $45 each. Additional charge (one off) for linen - $20 per person, cleaning $65
20% deposit is required to confirm a booking. Deposits are fully refundable, less any banking charges, up to two weeks before the date of the booking, after that they are non-refundable. Full payment is required in the week before arriving.
Our farmstay, known as the Shearers' Quarters, sleeps 8 in the main building and 2 adjoining cabins sleep an additional 4 persons. Features of the property include a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area, 3 bathrooms, a large log burner fire with ducted heating and beds that can be converted to singles or superkings. Each group has exclusive use of the property, no other guests will be staying at the same time.
The farmstay is within close reach of 3 ski fields, 3 golf courses, the walkways of the Lake Coleridge Basin, the Mt Hutt bike park and the Opuke Methven thermal pools and spa.
The property is popular with family groups, sporting groups, corporates holding workshops and internationals wanting to experience rural life.
