As with any Milford Sound, Fiordland or Stewart Island experience, your itinerary – including departure times, activities, and the number of hours cruising and mooring – can vary depending on the weather. Milford Sound Overnight Cruises - the age restriction 6+. Fiordland 6 and 9-night cruises and Stewart Island 6-night cruises - the age restriction is 9+.
These vary depending on the experience - Overnight 28 days prior. Multi-Day Public 2 months prior. Private Charter 3 months prior. Reservations may be amended to another date or time subject to space and availability. No charge is made for this amendment but any difference in price will need to be paid by the passenger.
The idea behind Fiordland Discovery is to offer visitors up-close-and-personal access to one of New Zealand’s most iconic national parks and New Zealand's third largest island Stewart Island, through operators that have genuine connections to these areas. Fiordland Discovery offers high-end adventure cruising on the Fiordland Jewel a 24m high-spec catamaran. Our Milford Sound Overnight Cruise & Heli Lunch Day Cruises operates (2 Dec 23-7 April 24 & 3 Nov 24-21 Apr 25). Our multi-day cruise experiences operate (April to June then August to Nov) 6-night & 9-night Fiordland cruises and 6-night Stewart Island Scenic, History & Nature Expeditions. 6-night Private Charters are tailored to the group and can include fishing, hunting & diving.
