Extra guide for non swimmers $350
Transport, food, snacks, drinks, lunch, equipment, clothing and guides provided. Digital camera available $30 per person or $50 for 2 persons. Digital photos and videos free download. Bring your own camera or Go Pro no charge.
Cancellation 24 hours prior to trip - full refund, less any booking fees. Within 24 hours - refund at operator discretion. Trips that are unable to run due to weather - refund or change to another date or time. COVID-19. Please do not attend if you have Covid-19. Deep Canyon reserves the right to cancel any trip for safety reasons due to adverse weather conditions or excessively high water levels. When the weather may impact on trips, we make the decision first thing in the morning of the trip.
Deep Canyon is New Zealand’s 'premier' canyon guiding company. We have been running guided canyon descents since 1994. Our guides are certified in canyoning by the New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association (NZOIA) have plenty of local and overseas experience and are trained and certified in risk management, outdoor first aid, rope skills and outdoor instruction techniques. Our equipment and safety procedures are of the highest standard and our commitment to safety is absolute. This allows us to run maximum adventure and maximum fun trips in wild and fantastic situations. Our focus is strongly on personal satisfaction and good humour. We run day trips in stunning canyons in the Wanaka & Haast areas.
