In the event of a cancellation we will, at our discretion, reschedule or refund your experience.
This is an introduction into the world of Cloudy Bay’s ‘terroirs’. We will stop in several of our vineyard sites to illustrate the variety of soil and microclimate types at the source, giving our guests insight into the wine’s resulting flavour and aromatic profile. This tour is a perfect way to start your experience at Cloudy Bay before a Tailored Tasting and/or Epicurean Experience or Sail Away. The tour is held onboard our restored 1985 Land Rover Defender 'Dave' named after David Hohnen, who founded of Cloudy Bay in 1985. Included is a flute of Pelorus NV on top of our Mustang or Delta vineyard to enjoy the views over the Wairau valley, Southern Valleys, and the view out towards the Pacific Ocean and Cloudy Bay.
