Tours operate when the minimum number of passengers has been met.
In the event, you have purchased a group tour and subsequently wish to cancel it, Auckland & Beyond Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows: 7 – 10 days prior to the date of the tour – 25% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. 3 – 6 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges. 48 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
Your tour starts by getting picked up from select locations in Auckland, as you enjoy a two-hour scenic drive to The Hobbiton Movie Set. You will be fully guided for 2.5 hours around the 12 acre set; past Hobbit Holes™, the Mill and into the world-famous Green Dragon™ Inn, where you will be presented with a complimentary, exclusive Hobbit™ Southfarthing™ beverage. You will then start your way to Rotorua where you'll visit Te Puia where you will see the largest Geyser in the Southern Hemisphere inside a 60 hectare Geothermal Valley. You will also have an opportunity to see A live Kiwi Bird, watch traditional Māori carving and weaving, and walk around a model Māori Village. Relax on your way back to Auckland and enjoy the scenery.
