If your plans change or you decide to travel to another destination, you can cancel your trip 121 days or more before trip departure, and 100% of payments already made by you, less your deposit will be refunded. A cancellation fee of 10% of the full booking value will be deducted from your deposit and the balance of your deposit will be held as a credit for you.
We've been fine-tuning this perennial favourite since 1996, and it's simply an incredible trip. We'll take you on an unforgettable journey exploring our mountains in Mount Cook National Park and Nelson Lakes National Park, walking the West Coast rainforest and coastlines, getting up close to glaciers in Franz Josef, cycling incredibly scenic trails such as the Alps to Ocean trail, hiking sections of our Great Walks, and even cruising on Milford Sound. Be prepared to leave a piece of your heart in New Zealand. This is one of our more adventurous trips but has options to suit a wide range of ages and outdoor experiences. Typically, hikes on this trip take three to six hours to complete, with longer hikes on the backpacking option.
