Included in your tour is a day trip north to beautiful Hanmer Springs, which has a slightly European feel and is ringed in mountains. The town is the South Islands main thermal resort. You will play the very popular country golf course which boasts some of North Canterbury’s finest scenery. Finish the day by relaxing at Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa. Additionally, a day trip to the unspoilt old French whaling depot of Akaroa, with a two-hour cruise on the Canterbury Cat exploring the delights of Akaroa Harbour and sighting dolphins, penguins and seals.
