If cancelled on the day of your booking or after midday the day before, no refunds will be given. If cancelled by midday (12pm) up to the day before your booking then a $50 handling fee applies. If possible, we will work with you to re-schedule your trip FOC.
1 Day - Best Of The West - Distance: 53kms. Kawhaka Canal - Hokitika. We will do a bike fit and trail briefing before a 30 minute shuttle ride to the Kawhaka Canal. Please bring your packed lunch - this is a big day out and there are no shops or cafes along the way. From here you get to ride alongside the canal before starting the climb up to the Kawhaka Pass. Keep an ear out up here for the juvenile Kea. Descend through spectacular native bush and over a swing bridge which is a “must” photo stop, down through stunning bush in to the Arahura River Valley. Meander along the road before climbing back up out of the valley to Lake Kaniere. Follow the Kaniere Water Race and back to Hokitika.
