It is recommended that if you have any health problems especially a heart condition then it advised to not partake in this activity. We endeavour to keep everyone safe but it is your responsibility to be honest with us on whether you should be doing this activity. There is a discount for families, of two adults & two kids under 15, other kids can also be added at a discount. Our snorkelling is from the boat so can be overwhelming for children even though we see the ocean floor all the time.
Mother Nature can provide all sorts of challenges and can dictate where we can go with our trips. Bay of Islands Snorkelling reserves the right to cancel for safety reasons. Any trip cancelled by Bay of Islands Snorkelling due to adverse weather conditions will be fully refunded or offered to travel another day. We watch the weather all the time so will get in contact with you to talk about the options. Customer cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
If your wanting a great trip with a guide that is passionate about what they do then go no further than Bay of Islands Snorkelling. I have worked out on the water here for over 25 years I have a love for sharing this beautiful place off and now from 2019 when my husband and I started this we can also show you some amazing sights under the water too. Deep Water Cove has had a no take zone, Rahui around it since 2010 and the fish seem to know it. The variety of fish plentiful and come so close. We also visit a massive archway which is not only great for the scenery, it is also another place where the fish are super friendly. Our boat is a solid catamaran and we have a platform that drops down into the water for ease of entry and exit.
