You’ll be mesmerised as your plane descends between the sky-piercing Alps and lands at New Zealand’s most picturesque airport, only a few minutes' drive into the heart of Queenstown.
Spend your day exploring central Queenstown and preparing for your ski adventure. A great way to see this beautiful alpine town is with a trip up Bob's Peak in the Skyline Gondola.

If you’re a complete novice, the sun-drenched learners’ area is the perfect place. Fancy venturing further afield? There are backcountry runs and black diamond runs to challenge the most accomplished skiers or riders. There are some awesome snow terrain parks to check out too.
After a day on the slopes, there is nothing better than soaking in a hot spa or enjoying a therapeutic massage before hitting the town for the evening.
Spend day three checking out Coronet Peak, the closest ski field to Queenstown (just 25 minutes drive). Here you can ski literally from dawn to dusk and it's also the place for night skiing. Watch the pristine afternoon sky transform itself into glorious hues of pink before the sun sets and the night lights come on. Park after Dark has freestyle runs with boxes, rails and airbags. Dine on the deck and enjoy the evening atmosphere.
Day four, the choice is yours; take your pick of Coronet Peak or The Remarkables.
Before heading home, take some time to check out some of the other things Queenstown has to see and do. Take a sightseeing tour to Glenorchy, or try out some of Queenstown's many adventure activities - this place is especially famous for bungy jumping and jet boating.
