With four ski areas within 90 minutes of downtown Queenstown offering excellent skiing and snowboarding from June through October, all types of snow-seeking visitors are catered for. There’s snow activities beyond strapping a board or clipping into skis, with snowshoeing, snowmobiling and snow-landing by helicopter available during winter.

In spring the skiing action doesn’t end, with playful snow conditions and warmer days providing a relaxed atmosphere on piste. The beauty of spring is that you can get the best of both worlds by skiing in the morning, and playing a round of golf, mountain biking of adventuring in the afternoon.
