About

We pride ourselves of our iwi (tribal) connections and settlement stories of Tauranga Moana dating back to the 13th century and beyond. Join us on this experience to gain cultural insights into the history of our forebears settlement on the shores of the harbour. We will take you from a migration Maori navigation compass to the sites of ancient pā (fortified villages) where you will be walked through one of Aotearoa’s (New Zealand) most historic battles. Journey with us through kiwifruit orchards to our local marae. We round off the excursion with spectacular panoramic views of the harbour and surrounding coastlines. Includes an optional drop-off and pick-up at a selected local eatery to purchase lunch.
