Cancellations may be made up to 12 hours prior to travel. If for any reason the ship does not sail on the day (due to bad weather or any other reason) then the next alternative day will be offered. If for some reason the alternative day does not suit, all payments will be refunded in full.

Perfect for those looking for a shorter activity at the end of the day! We offer this unique sailing experience on board Northland's iconic tall ship the R.Tucker Thompson on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, departing 4pm from Russell wharf. Either get involved in sailing the ship, climb the rigging and take the helm. Or sit back and relax with a glass of wine from our cash bar. A shared platter is included in the price. Ferry tickets are included in the price so you can enjoy an afternoon exploring the historic Kororāeka - Russell township before boarding and enjoy fine dining at one of the many restaurants after.
