Infants ages four and under are FREE, when accompanied by a full paying adult.
The family rate for 1 adult and 2 children is $70. Each additional adult is $20 per person and each additional child is $8 per person.
You have until 24 hours prior to your booked time to cancel or amend your booking. Cancellations or changes after this time are non-refundable. In the event of an operator cancellation prior to your booking (due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances), a full refund or re-scheduling will apply. Child policy, children rates apply to school-aged children 5 - 17 years of age; children 4 years and under are free of charge. Pricing differences may occur during online rebooking.
The Pounamu Pathway is four interconnected visitor experience centres blending leading-edge digital storytelling and have been proudly co-created by Wētā Workshop, renowned for their work on The Lord of The Rings and Avatar. Nau mai. Haere mai. Welcome to Māwhera Pā. With spectacular architectural designs featuring treasured tribal patterns, master carving and other traditional artforms, the Māwhera Pa celebrates mātauranga (knowledge) and manaakitanga (hospitality) of Poutini Ngāi Tahu (people of the West Coast). Step inside to be wowed by five themed storytelling whare (houses) flowing through a central ātea (open space). See contemporary, large scale-sculptures and stunning audio-visuals inspired by ancient traditions.
