Admission to the reserve included.
11am daily. 40 minute tour. Capacity: 2 -10 people (phone us to ask about larger or private bookings). Recommended age: All ages (children under 14 require adult accompaniment).
25% deposit required to secure booking. More than 14 days prior to commencement no charge. More than 24 hours prior to commencement 25% up to a maximum of $250. 24 hours or less prior to commencement 75% up to a maximum of $250. No show will result in no refund.
An affordable add-on to get the most out of your visit to Ngā Manu Nature Reserve. Join our knowledgeable staff on their morning feeding round of our captive species. As you make your way through a selection of bird enclosures and our Kiwi Nocturnal House you will learn about our conservation effort as well as the personalities of the animals we care for – kiwi, kākāriki, kāka, kea, tūī, scaup, kererū, weka, and whio, along with tuatara and our native lizards. There are many opportunities for close encounters and photos.
